JOB DETAILS:

Field Inspector I

To be proficient in all phases of installation and to inspect, verify, and assist with daily installation activities of contract labor crews. This position usually interfaces with all system personnel and has extensive outside contact with contractors and customers.

Major Duties:

• Inspection of contractor production to assure quality and adherence to Bright House Networks specifications.
• Correct any minor discrepancies and to turn in any major discrepancies for the installer to go back and correct.
• Verify billing codes against actual work completed.
• Input accurate information daily into a computer tablet so that proper reports can be generated.
• Assist contract installers in the field with difficult jobs or technical questions to insure our customers "The Best" in quality service.
• Check into any In-House or customer complaints and do within reason what needs to be done to satisfy the customer.
• Any special jobs that need to be done in the system that cannot be contracted.
• Monthly maintenance checks of your vehicle

Required Skills

Special Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Required:

• Previous experience is not required, although a good "prior work record" is desirable. Must be certified as an installer. Basic electronics and electricity courses are preferred, but not required. A basic aptitude is helpful, and the ability to work outdoors year round. Pole climbing and ladder handling certification is a must. Must have a valid Florida Drivers license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
• Bending and stooping required and must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Required to wear protective equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:   High school graduate or equivalent

Work Experience:   One year installation
