Direct Sales Rep-Defuniak

The purpose of this position is to sell cable television services in person to potential subscribers living in the franchise area.

Required Skills

(Minimum Requirements) Typing, 10-Key, using computer and telephone system. Persuasive written and verbal communications. Through knowledge of city and map reading. Cable product, programming choices, prices and basic mathematics. Ability to handle customer service inquires and request. Ability to sell and travel in the field. Own vehicle that is appropriate for business use (with valid driver's license)and good 5 yr driving record. Walking and driving for long periods of time. Communicating in person or by telephone to contact customers. Works in various weather conditions.

Required Experience

(Basic Requirements) High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have 1-2 years of customer service, telephone sales or field sales experience.
